Celebrate, Go Loco, or Let Your Guard Down: Try our New Nicaraguan Puros

We’re always on the lookout for great new cigars and we have three new Nicaraguan puros we think you’ll love.

Which of these three will turn your head?

HVC 500th Anniversary

If you want to join the celebration of Havana Cuba’s 500th anniversary, then we have the perfect stick for you: the HVC 500th Anniversary cigar.

A puro – which means all the tobacco leaves come from one country – this cigar features leaves from Aganorsa’s farms in Nicaragua including a corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa, a binder also from Jalapa, and criollo 98 and corojo 99 fillers from Jalapa and Esteli.

“This is by far the best cigar I’ve smoked in the last ten years,” says Buddy Williams, manager of M.A.’s Smoke House in Shreveport-Bossier City. “It’s just a smooth cigar with a lot of flavor.”

If the HVC 500 Anniversary sounds interesting to you, you better hurry. It’s a limited edition cigar with only 1,333 boxes produced.

Get yours before the party’s over!

Aganorsa JFR Lunatic Loco

Aganorsa went loco with its JFR Lunatic Loco. This puro has several things that make it crazy special:

  • The physical design of the cigar means it’s rolled into the perfect shape for fitting comfortably in the hand. This is due to it’s length of 5.5” or shorter, ring gauges ranging from 60-80, and tapering at both ends.
  • Both leaves and wrapper are Nicaraguan, handpicked from Aganorsa’s farms with a special shade-grown Jalapa Corojo wrapper full of dark oils.
  • It features full-bodied, spicy flavors with notes of earth, pepper, dark fruit, cedar and leather.

Go loco and try one!

Guardian of The Farm

Another Nicaraguan puro, this cigar is the second collaboration between Warped’s Kyle Gellis and Aganorsa’s Max Fernandez.

Guardian combines a Corojo ’99 wrapper leaf grown in the Jalap valley and a melange of Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 long fillers.

This winning combination produces a balanced flavor profile with notes of sweet cream, black pepper, woodiness, and cream.

One critic found it, “nutty in character, showing almond and nutmeg qualities along with hints of cinnamon.”

Sounds like dessert to us!
