A Shreveport institution, M.A.’s Smokehouse has been the best local source for tobacco and accessories since 1976. M.A.’s is the second-oldest traditional smoke shop in Louisiana, and the only one of it’s kind in Shreveport.
M.A.’s was started as a family business by the Williams family, and it was named after the family matriarch, Mary Ann. Passed on from parents to son Buddy, he owned and operated the business for 17 years before selling it to Matthew St. Amant in 2015. Matt, a local businessman and cigar lover, bought M.A.’s as a passion project, and he insisted that Buddy stay on to run the shop. Buddy brings 40 years of experience in and around the shop, and Matt has stepped into add new features and selection options to M. A.’s repertoire.
M.A.’s Smokehouse has a lot to offer tobacco lovers – from our impressive cigar selection, to the custom pipe tobacco bar, to our carefully curated selection of accessories. M.A.’s also features several comfortable smoking lounges, and whether customers are looking for some quiet time alone or a diverse community of smokers, M.A.’s has the perfect spot.
In 2015, the Bossier shop was launched, and it focuses mainly on cigars and accessories.
Matt and Buddy are committed to their “old-school” tobacco shop vision, and we look forward to welcoming veteran smokers and educating curious novices.
