There’s a new kid on the block at MA’s Smokehouse in Shreveport-Bossier. Well, make that three new kids.
“We’re offering a new line of Macanudo cigars called, ‘Inspirado’,” says Buddy Williams, manager. “This new line features three varieties of cigar with more kick than the traditional line of Macanudos,” he says.
One of the most recognized cigar brands in the USA, Buddy often recommends the smooth and flavorful Macanudo Café to new smokers as a starter cigar. While the Inspirado Orange cigars have been available since 2014, the new Black and White cigars debuted more recently and offer smokers even more complex blends.
Here’s a brief description of each Inspirado stick:
The Inspirado Orange
The Orange is handcrafted in Honduras with a Honduran wrapper, a Honduran binder, and hand-selected tobacco from the Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The blend delivers a spicy, complex smoking experience with a medium-to-full flavor profile.
The Inspirado White
The White features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (aged for six years), an Indonesian binder with a filler of Nicaraguan Estelf and Medican San Andres tobacco (aged four years). The mild-to-medium flavor profile delivers notes of cream and black pepper.
The Inspirado Black
Macanudo used a new, innovative process for The Black, employing a special cultural practice that calls for the Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco leaves to ripen on the stalk. Featuring proprietary seeds grown in Esteli, this specially fermented blend results in a balance of bold, peppery notes balanced by a subtle undertone of sweet earth.
